My name is Lisa West and I am the new PreK-12 Principal at Cherry School. I am honored and delighted to be joining this outstanding school community! A bit about me: My background consists of elementary and middle school teaching experience, numerous district leadership positions, as well as 6-12 Dean of Students in International Falls. As I step into this new role, I am filled with a deep sense of responsibility and a genuine commitment to fostering an exceptional learning environment for our students. Education is a transformative journey that lays the foundation for lifelong success, and it is my steadfast belief that every child deserves the best possible education. In collaboration with our dedicated faculty and staff, I am committed to providing a stimulating and innovative learning environment that encourages curiosity, critical thinking, and creativity. I strongly believe that by nurturing a sense of belonging and respect for one another's unique perspectives, we can create a vibrant community where everyone's voice is heard and respected.
