Third Grade with Mrs. Koski....

Greetings from third grade!  Another wonderful year of learning has begun!  I am so excited to be in third grade once again.  Thank you for trusting me with your amazing children!

Although I graduated from another local high school, I am a wife and mother of several Cherry School graduates.  My husband-Dave, daughter-Nicole (2010), and son-Matt (2013), graduated from this great school.  Soon my youngest child-Luke (2016), will walk across the gym floor and graduate from Cherry School, too!  We have something special here.  I am proud to be a part of it!

I always wanted to be a pediatrician when I was growing up.  It took one college science class to help me change my mind.  I knew I wanted to help children...so, I decided I should be an elementary teacher!  It has been one of the most challenging AND rewarding things I have ever done.  I love teaching children and helping them to develop skills that can take them anywhere!  I have a Bachelor's of Science degree from Bemidji State University.  I am a licensed Kindergarten-6th grade teacher.  I am currently working on a Master's in Literacy Education and a certificate for Autism Spectrum Disorders through Hamline University.

When I am not teaching or doing homework, I enjoy traveling, fishing, snowmobiling, watching sunsets, spending time with my family, chatting with friends, reading, and watching movies.
