Third Grade with Mrs. Koski....
Although I graduated from another local high school, I am a wife and mother of several Cherry School graduates. My husband and our three children attended all of their K-12th grade schooling at the Cherry School! We have something special here and I am proud to be a part of it!
I always wanted to be a pediatrician when I was growing up. It took one college science class to help me change my mind. I knew I wanted to help children...so, I decided I should be an elementary teacher! It has been one of the most challenging AND rewarding things I have ever done. I love teaching children and helping them to develop skills that can take them anywhere! I am licensed to teach Kindergarten - 6th grade. I have a Bachelor's of Science degree from Bemidji State University. I recently completed certification in Autism Spectrum Disorders and I am very close to completing a Master's in Literacy Education degree through Hamline University. I love learning...especially when what I am learning can help kids!
When I am not teaching or doing homework, I enjoy traveling, fishing, snowmobiling, watching sunsets, spending time with my family, chatting with friends, reading, and watching movies.
